Christmas Crafts!

Today the kindergarten classes are working on different Christmas crafts. Mrs. Porter’s and Mrs. Dale’s classes are working on gingerbread houses, while some students in Mrs. Tierney’s room are making snowflakes! Below are some pictures from the crafting!    

Kindergarten at the Senior Center

Today our kindergartners and school band went to the Lafitte Senior Center to sing and play music. I was lucky enough to go and hear the kindergartners, and they were amazing! Below are some pictures and a video I took. I’m sure the band did a great job too!

We have a computer lab now! It is all set up, and this week many of our classes began using it. Below are some pictures of Ms. Caldwell’s class working on their I-Ready lessons. As the year goes on, I’m sure a lot of projects and lessons will be done in the lab! I’m excited […]


Olaf Tree!

Look at how amazing our Olaf tree is! Mrs. Kuhn made the face of our Olaf and Ms. Liz and Mr. Garrett assembled him! It is getting everyone into the winter and holiday spirit! I’ve also heard that many classrooms have elf visitors who are keeping a close eye on the kids.


Third Grade Science Experiment

This week the third graders are learning about ecosystems with Mrs. Kennair. They worked on a science experiment that took them outdoors!
