The Mission of Kerner Elementary and our school community is to provide a learning environment that will develop our students academically, socially, emotionally, and physically to become the best that they can be.
This Wednesday, November 20th, all students will be dismissed at 1:00 for an early dismissal day. There will be no child care on this day.

Today our first through fifth graders dressed up in their costumes for a Halloween costume contest. We had scary, funny, and pretty costumes! I don’ t know the winners yet, but below I have some pictures I grabbed from the contest this morning!
This week Mrs. Caldwell’s third grade writing prompt was about carving jack o’lanterns. The students had to write a step by step instructional piece about how to carve pumpkins for Halloween.
